This kit has all the drum elements I like to part together from different kits into one to recreate that classic sound from the 80's that is partially a drum machine but also partially a live kit. And I wouldnt have it any other way.

The Kick is a juicy punchy drum machine kick without the transient low bit distortion these seem to always have.

The Snare is a multi sampled late era Linndrum snare also without any pesky artifacts. You will find that it responds a little differently than a regular linndrum though with a lot more sensitivity so you can get better snare rolls.

The Hi Hats are crispy and responsive live multi sampled hi hats just like all the classic boogie funk tracks have where they skipped the clunky drum machine hihats in favor of smooth dynamic live sound.

The Toms are your classic rototoms of the era but multilayered for dynamic rolls.

The Cymbals are classic Ride and Crash but I included a special Crash Stack Cymbal that has a nice attention getting splash that they enjoyed from that era.

The Claps include a nice long Electronic wash clap, A G funk Clap and a combo hand clap multi sampled and carefully eq'd for that hi end punch.

Two built in drum rack controls allow for selective reverb so you get that big space sound while the kick and cymbals stay dry. And a knob for changing the pitch of the snare on the fly.
